Cultural Narrative:

La Estrella taco was bulit in a area where it was easily seen so the owner would get a lot of business. Fair Oaks being a busy street that is always filled with hungry people. The owner wanted La Estrella to be a welcoming space, to all people. So, instead of a typical inside restaurant he wanted the seating areas to be outdoors but still have a roof to protect people from rain, along with giving shade from the sun.

Juan is the owner of La Estrella Tacos I spoke to his son who is the part owner of La Estrella and will be the next main owner in the next year, after his father passes it down to him according to his father. His son Miguel was nice enough to give us some history on La Estrella . The restaurant has been in business for 7 years. In those 7 years the restaurant has been passed down from three generation, Juan father and Juan himself, and so to be passed down to Miguel, Juan son's. The restaurant reflects the grandmas cooking because she wanted to share it with the public community.
