Devon Peña is a prolific writer and professor of American Ethnic Studies and Anthropology at the University of Washington. He's the founder and president of the Acequia Institute in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. His most recent book is called "Mexican Origin Foods, Foodways and Social Origins: Decolonial Perspectives."
