Rio Brazilian Steakhouse
Owners Vagmar and Bill grew up with a love of Brazilian cuisine. However, that love soon grew into a passion and manifested into what we now know as Rio Steak House. Conveniently located at 318 Court Street, the restaurant offers a quiet location less than 10 minutes from busy downtown Plymouth, MA. The main entrance faces Court St, a small commercial area of Plymouth mixed with residential housing. There is outdoor seating here at the front of the building which can be enjoyed during the summer months. The outdoor patio is surrounded by a white picket fence and beautiful flowers making it a cozy and inviting space. There is also a side entrance easily accessible from the parking lot. In addition to a wide variety of grilled meats, fresh salads, side dishes, and a dessert menu - appetizers include; picanha on the grill, shrimp cocktail, chicken tenders, breaded shrimp, rashers of bacon with yucca and garlic shrimp. You dine in a buffet style on fantastic Brazilian food and can watch your dishes being prepared and cooked over the grill just a few feet away. During lunchtime the buffet is often crowded with locals working in the area. You can manage all your food by turning the cards on your table. If you would like to start with a salad, just keep your card on the red side. If you would rather go straight to the good stuff, flip to the green side and the freshly grilled meats will be brought to your table. The bar has an extensive beer and wine menu and features “Riotails” such as Rio Steakhouse; vodka, lime, strawberry, white cranberry, and signature touch, Corcovado; vodka, cucumber, basil, and white cranberry, Rio Vodka Iced Tea; fresh lemon, mint, sugar, iced tea, and signature touch and Caipirinha which is a Brazilian Mojito. Dessert items include Pao de Acucar (brownie with vanilla ice cream), rice pudding, chocolate lava cake, passion fruit mousse, strawberry cheesecake, Tiramisu, churros, carrot cake, and of course, caramel flan, their most popular dessert. Rio Steakhouse also has a full catering menu. The owners go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is exceptional, whether it be in the restaurant or at your desired location. You can't beat Rio Brazilian Steakhouse for the best Brazilian food in town.
The Brazilian Rodizio is one word which epitomizes the famous Brazilian BBQ cuisine and the style of most Brazilian steakhouse restaurants. By definition, it means 'rotate,' and when it comes to be associated with a Brazilian restaurant, it implies 'all you can eat.' The concept of barbeque is what is followed here and consequently, most meals that are served in restaurant like Rio Steakhouse are straight from the cooking skewer.
