Sabor Mexicano

Owner, Lilia Mendez, began her life in Vancouver, Washington in 1976, after leaving her hometown of Colima, Mexico to join her mother. She graduated from the local schools in Vancouver, and began her life of hard work and dedication to her family and her Mexican roots. Lilia has been married to her husband, who helps cook in the restaurant, for over 30 years and is the proud mother of 2 boys and 2 grandkids with one more on the way. She works a full-time job, along with running the restaurant. Aided by her cousins, sister, and husband, she has grown this restaurant into the delicious, established business it is today. She also runs a food stand at the local farmer's market during spring and summer, where you can stop by and enjoy amazing homemade tamales. Come early though, they sell out fast! With amazing, authentic food, and the nicest, most welcoming service, Sabor Mexicano is a must when visiting Vancouver, Washington.
