Tee Pee Mexican Food

Tee Pee Mexican Food is located in Phoenix, Arizona on 42nd Street and Indian School Road in the Arcadia neighborhood. Tee Pee first opened in 1958 and was started by husband and wife, Tony and Anna Duran, who both worked in the restaurant. The restaurant continues to be family owned today and has been taken over by Tony and Anna’s daughter and son-in-law.

Located in a residential area surrounded by homes and apartments, schools, and small places of business, Tee Pee is often referred to as a neighborhood restaurant. It is not a chain restaurant but has been family owned from its establishment, and is known as a mom-and-pop restaurant. Adding to the family and neighborhood friendly environment feel of the restaurant are the hundreds of framed photos of guests who have dined at Tee Pee, from local families to President Bush, many people have stopped in Tee Pee to enjoy a meal. Tee Pee serves primarily traditional Mexican food favorites such as homemade chips and salsa, tamales, enchilades, tacos, albondigas soup and chili rellenos.
